Our Achievements

The following nominations and awards have been given to M6 in recognition of our artistic work and the positive contribution it makes to the lives of young people:

The Off West End Theatre Awards/ 'The Offies' 2016 - awarded Best Production for Young People Aged 0-7 for Whatever the Weather (in association with Polka Theatre).  

Rochdale Borough Sport and Culture Awards 2015/16 - awarded Best Production for Whatever the Weather.

ACA Members' Award 2014 (Action for Children's Arts) awarded to Joss Matzen, M6's Production and Tour Manager, in recognition of her work in children's theatre.

Children & Young People Now Awards 2013- The Arts and Culture Award - (Highly Commended) M6 Theatre Company Act Now Participatory Programme

Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) awarded to M6 Artistic Producer Dorothy Wood in recognition of ‘Services to Drama in the North West’ 2006
