An imaginative production for the very young from M6 Theatre Company
Written and directed by Gilly Baskeyfield
Winner 'Best Production for Young People Aged 0-7' at 'The Offies' - The Off West End Theatre Awards 2016
This engaging and accessible show tells the story of Mr Rain and Mrs Sunshine, who live side by side in a traditional Alpine weather house. When the heavens open, out ventures Mr Rain, but when the skies clear and the sun creeps through, he retreats to make way for Mrs Sunshine. Side by side, but never together, the two characters tell a story of turn-taking and empathy, as seen through the eyes of the very young.
Children and grown-ups alike will be captivated by the humorous characters, original music and the inventive and surprising set: drawn in by the quaint blue wooden weather house, adorable fluffy chicks and a slightly bemused-looking deer!
