Billy is starting school – it’s a bit scary! Time to call on Mudge (his imaginary friend) for a bit of help. With a pinch of fun, imagination and mischief, a big dollop of friendship and a little drop of bravery, Billy rises to the challenge. What comes as a very unexpected surprise is the special new friend he meets when he gets there.
Using a fusion of theatre, dance and original music brought together by specialist artists and arts organisations from each art form, BEST FRIENDS builds on the huge demand for work for this age range (4-7’s).
Devised from an original story by Dorothy Wood, M6’s Artistic Producer.
Scripted by Mary Cooper – writer of many of M6’s successful productions including BREATHING SPACE, which took Canadian audiences by storm and was nominated for ‘Outstanding Touring Production’ in the Canadian DORA awards.
Directed by Andy Manley – nationally and internationally acclaimed creator, performer and director of theatre for young audiences.
Choreographed by Gil Graystone from Ludus Dance who has worked on a number of innovative M6 productions for very young and family audiences.
