‘A long time ago there
was a King who had lost his smile and nothing in the
land of Rochdale could make him happy until…..’
This magical story used puppetry, rhyme and participation
to create a journey of discovery for very young children
as they help the King rediscover the joy in his heart.
Devised by Dot Wood and Gilly Baskeyfield and toured
to Rochdale Sure Start settings
